Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;

be our aid against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

We humbly pray that God may subdue him, and that you,

Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power that comes to you from God, cast into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl the world seeking to damn souls.
